Lets have a great November

Historically one of the so-called "Quiet" months in a Wisconsin bike shop's calendar...but with the weirdness that's been the last 3 seasons - who knows?
There will be new bikes comin' in...
We just got 10 Gazelle's in,,
Lotsa cool indoor riding opportunities...
Some other fun stuff...
All we're sayin' is that this November oughta be fun!

Our hours remain the same...

Tuesday - Friday Noon-6pm
Closed (and ridin'!) Sat,Sun and Mon

We're encouraging the ideas of appointments for in-depth new bike discussions, fittings, and large service projects...they're available both during open hours as well as before/after. (And are entirely optional and at YOUR convenience!)

The name ‘November’ is believed to derive from ‘novem’ which is the Latin for the number ‘nine’.
In the ancient Roman calendar, November was the ninth month after March.
As part of the seasonal calendar, November is the time of the ‘Snow Moon’ according to Pagan beliefs and the period described as the ‘Moon of the Falling Leaves’ by Black Elk.”
People born around mid-November were conceived around Valentine’s Day.
November Gemstone: Topaz
November Flower: Chrysanthemum

October is here already.

We’ve delivered bikes of all types for very tall and very small cyclists, a gravel race bike, a Gazelle, or age proof-modern-road-bike (a replacement bike that wasn’t fitting well ) and a nouvo-classic road bike that begs the question: “and why do we need electronic shifting and disc brakes?”

How about a Cannondale Topstone? The bikes are a truly a Swiss Army knife. Use if for local roads and Gravel or Cross-Country expeditions.

How about a complete ‘fit-to-finish’ experience you can schedule your fitting right here in Holmen Wisconsin? This area is one of the few places in the country that has roads with awesome venues for cycling of all types along with many other outdoor experiences…so many of our customers make a bike vacation of this great area. Did you know Greg LeMond trained in this area?

As so many of you are recently new to disc brakes… it is very important to heed the manufacturers’ recommendations to ensure continued excellent performance and safety. This includes an annual maintenance procedure- cleaning, lubricating, inspecting your entire bike AND a re-bleed of your hydraulic disc brakes.
Enjoy the fall wherever you are and hope to see you out on the road soon!

March 22

We're ready for Spring and the 3rd month of the year brings us ever closer to longer, warmer, sunnier days, dry trails and clear roads!

Some other reasons to appreciate this month:
1. It's Women's History month!
2. It is the first month of Spring which begins between March 19-21.
3. The Anglo-Saxons called the month Hlyd monath which means Stormy month, or Hraed monath which means Rugged month.
4. Where does the word March originate from?
The word 'March' comes from the Roman 'Martius'. This was originally the first month of the Roman calendar and was named after Mars, the god of war.

Training and exams are done for Serotta International Cycling Institute. Make a appointment for sizing.

We're here:
TUES - FRI 10:00 'til 5:00
SATURDAY 10:00-1:00
(Appointments are always available outside of those hours for fittings or bike discussions as well)
